A Ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece. The 3 Ring is our most popular version.
The Elliptical Buster is a 40 mm lozenge, which gives the same action as the Buster Roller. It encourages the horse to lift its head by applying bar pressure, but it is slightly softer than the Buster roller due to the bigger surface area on the tongue. The lozenge on the tongue will keep the horse's attention on the bit and will increase pressure bringing the head in.
All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:
oxidizes easily
encourages salivation
helps bit acceptance
is warm and sweet
